The first-ever all-female Honor Flight landed in Washington, D.C. on Monday to a crowd of cheering supporters.
The Nebraska Female Veterans Flight took off from Omaha and landed a few hours later at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
An honor flight is organized to transport military veterans to the nation's capital to see the memorials of the wars in which they fought.
Navy Rear Admiral Linnea Sommer-Weddington was among the more than 130 veterans on the flight, and said Wednesday on Fox & Friends First that the plane's pilots and flight attendants were also women.
