breaking/India Test-Fires its Longest Range Nuclear Capable Ballistic Missile Agni-V

The missile was fired from a defence test facility in the eastern state of Odisha. The missile, which is said to have an over 5000-km range has been fired in a lofted trajectory for the 1st time.
New Delhi (Sputnik): This is considered as a last pre-induction test for the missile. The missile is expected to be inducted into India's Strategic Forces Command by end of this month. Agni 1 to 4, with ranges from 700 km to 3,500 km, have already been inducted into service.
